ATHEIST TEACHING TALES
The various traditions have their teaching tales. There are Bible stories, cosmology tales told by indigenous peoples, Sufi teaching tales, Buddhist teaching tales, fables and fairy tales arising out of every culture. But so far no group or individual has constructed a body of atheist teaching tales designed to convey the wisdom of atheism and, as all teaching tales are designed to do, offer lessons and warnings. To begin the tradition of atheist teaching tales, Dr. Maisel has provided the following.
